Agrovoltaics

Solar Power and Agriculture on the Same Land

Agrovoltaics is a renewable energy model where solar power generation and agricultural activity are planned together on the same land.

Instead of treating land only as a solar site or only as agricultural land, agrovoltaics creates a dual-use model where land can support both clean power generation and continued agricultural value.

AME works with landowners, farmer groups, land aggregators and institutions to evaluate agrovoltaic project opportunities.

Who Can Approach AME for Agrovoltaics?

AME welcomes enquiries from:

The future of energy begins now

Reimagining the power of energy.

  • Individual landowners

  • Farmer groups

  • Multiple landowners willing to pool land
  •  Land aggregators

  • Agricultural institutions
  •  Private landholding companies

  •  Industrial groups with surplus land

  • Developers looking for agrovoltaic execution partners

Minimum Land Requirement

AME prefers land parcels of minimum 50 acres for agrovoltaic evaluation.

However, multiple nearby landowners can also pool land together if the combined land parcel is suitable for project development.

For example:

  • One landowner with 50 acres may apply.

  • Five landowners with 10 acres each may apply together.
  • A farmer group with pooled land may apply.

  • A land aggregator with village-level or district-level land clusters may apply.
